Digging buckets

Short description:

Buckets are integral part of the excavators. They provide optimal transition between machine power and work. Geometry, shape, type and size determines the nature of their usage and the deployment of the right excavator for the required work. New buckets designs emphasise more extended blade, that together with new shape line creates radical changes for the most optimal bucket filling, easier handling and lowering the resistance of loading material which means higher productivity. In regards of type and their usage the buckets are manufactured from both structural and heavy-duty but also wear resistant materials like HARDOX. For the toughest conditions and for the most critical places we can add wear elements to increase the resistance of the bucket to the abrasion on customer request.

Description:

Following the example of some manufacturing companies OCENG s. r. o. decided to choose four main categories of digging buckets. Each of this category is specific to the application, method of extraction and extracted material. The main emphasis is on effectivity and productivity. We are ready to provide each bucket with weld on pins or with any different quick-couplers types.

GD (General duty)
The GD buckets are meant for regular usege, where the emphasis is neither on abrasion nor on strength. The only criteria are volume and weight. The optimum deployment of this bucket is in loam, clay soil, a mixture of fine gravel and loamy sand. Class material nr. 3 — 4.

HD (Heavy duty)
The HD digging buckets are the most common buckets on our market. It's often said that they are the best in price performance ratio. These buckets are deployed when we are not sure about the material that will be mined. They are suitable for clay, abrasive and hard materials of classess 4 — 5.

SD (Severe duty)
The SD buckets (sometimes rock buckets) are mainly used in quarries, sand pits and recycling plants where blasted or sorted rock is handled. These buckets are usually manufactured from wear-resistant and strong materials. The classes of the mined material is 6 — 7.

XD (Extreme duty)

The XD buckets (sometimes extreme rock buckets) are intended to extreme abrasive environment like mining of granite, marble, kaolin and glass sands. These materials usually contain high ammount of quartz (high abrasive material). Therefore, extreme wear and loss of material occurs here.
